The Golf Club Restaurant has some special menu opportunities. The following paragraphs provide details:
Thanksgiving In May –
At your Linkside Café on Sat, May 24th there will be
Mark your
calendars and make your reservations now to join your friends for a very special
event. On Saturday, May 24th we will be celebrating "THANKSGIVING IN MAY"
as we count our blessings and give thanks for the successful campaign which has
saved our beloved Club, Restaurant and Golf Course. Following a
traditional Thanksgiving Dinner we will celebrate with an evening of
music, dancing and merriment. Reservations can be made by calling the
Linkside Cafe at 637-6405. Tickets must be purchased by no later than
Sunday, May 18th. When making your reservations please be prepared to
choose from one of the below entrees:
1.
Baked Ham
accompanied by Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Chef's Vegetable
and a Caesar Salad.....$19.50
2.
Roast Turkey
and Dressing accompanied by Mashed Potatoes, Gravy,
Cranberry Sauce, Chef's Vegetable and
a Caesar Salad.....$19.50
3.
Grilled
Chicken Breast on a Caesar Salad accompanied by a Cup
of Soup.....$18.00
All prices
include dinner rolls, pumpkin or pecan pie, coffee, tax, gratuity and the cost
of entertainment.

Memorial Day Swamp Romp

On Monday, May 26th at 8:15 am there will be shotgun start golf
tournament with an entry fee of $5.00.
Swamp Romp
Rules:
It's time for
a new golf game called the Swamp Romp.
This is a fun
event with a different format. Each group will be given a fake frog,
lizard and a snake. When someone in the group's ball goes into the water
that person is given the frog. The lizard is given for being in a sandtrap
and the snake is for 3 putting. The critters will be changing hands
frequently in the group. After play, there will be a stroke added per
critter to anyone's score who finishes with critters. Players never having
any critters during the tournament will have a stroke deducted. Everyone
will play their own ball. Two low net scores counted per team. For
further information concerning this golf event stop by or contact the golf shop
at 637-1577.
After the
Game join us on the Patio for a SWAMP ROMP BUFFET. Your Choice of Pulled Pork
BBQ or Chicken Breast Sandwich. Buffet includes: Baked Beans, Corn on the Cob,
Potato Salad, Watermelon and Dessert.
$12.50 per
person tax and gratuity included
$3 for each
additional sandwich
Buffet
tickets are now on sale at the Linkside Cafe and must be purchased by no later
than Wednesday, May 21st. We need at least 30 people for the buffet so bring
your friends. You do not need to play golf to join us for the buffet which
will begin at approximately Noon following the Golf Tournament. For
further information regarding the buffet or to make reservations contact the
Linkside Cafe at 637-6405.

Bingo is back on Friday, May 16th at the Linkside Cafe! Get your daubers ready
for the call "DAUBERS UP" and maybe you will be the lucky person this
month to get to yell BINGO!!
Reservations can be made by stopping by or calling the Linkside Cafe at 637-6405. If you are making a group reservation please be prepared to provide us with the names of all of the members of your group. Tickets must be purchased and paid for by no later than Wednesday, May 14th.
As always the cost for Bingo will be $1.00 per game.
Eight-packs good for the entire evening will be available for $8.00. Prizes will
be paid out in gift certificates which may be redeemed either at the Golf Shop
or the Linkside Cafe!
